Handforth East – Projects

Conceived as one of the government’s “Garden Villages,” 2,300 new homes will be provided in a new village that will enhance the natural environment and help to tackle climate change.

The village will include 3,500sq.m of retail space, two new primary schools, additional secondary school facilities, a community facility and place of worship, a public house, a takeaway, a restaurant and sports and leisure facilities. There will also be five hectares of employment land and sports pitches, as well as green infrastructure including a country park, allotments, a community orchard, and pedestrian and cycle links.

When complete, the development will be an attractive, lively and pleasant place where a new community can flourish and be positively integrated into the surrounding landscape.
