Manchester Five Sites – Projects

Designing and building 240 houses for risks uniformity. To avoid this and to ensure a range of design options, design variations and interchangeable features for the house designs were developed. The combined use of BIM and the ‘Assured House’ types helped to speed up the delivery of the project.

Standard plans combined with design options helped to achieve an economy of scale, but also variety in the architectural design. The new homes sit well within the differing context of five different sites, be it next to a Grade 1 Listed building or a recent modern housing development.
