No.4 Norton Road – Projects

In response to a local need, nine homes for adults with physical and learning disabilities has been created in a residential neighbourhood.

A large Victorian house was remodelled to accommodate four independent living apartments and five new supported living units have been built in the grounds of the original house. Each dwelling is a self-contained one-bedroom flat with shared garden areas for all. There is also a separate space for staff sleepover.

The development also includes a new community hall, which is well used by residents here and by other Camphill Village residents living within the wider community of the West Midlands.

The scheme is now an integral part of care provision in the area.
