The site is the former nurses accommodation historically part of Cheadle Royal Hospital. With the existing building in a serious state of disrepair our proposal, currently at planning stage, looks to demolish the existing and create a new courtyard housing scheme sat around a stunning landscaped area.
The accommodation proposed is for 27 units with a range of three to five bed housing, which includes semi-detached properties, townhouses and detached plots. Our architectural language takes cues from details of the existing building, to make appropriate to the setting of Cheadle Royal.
Being retained is the Avenue which runs to the south of the site which historically was the long drive entrance to the Hospital and will now form part of the landscape strategy.
