A new four-form entry high school, as part of the DfE’s School Replacement Programme, is being delivered for the Pope Francis Catholic Multi-Academy Trust.
The new school has been designed to comply with the DfE’s Output Specification and will be Net Zero Carbon in Operation, due to solar PV, ground source heat pumps, green roof and an enhanced thermal enveloped design. The scheme includes a sports hall, dining hall, dedicated chapel and fitness and dance studios in addition to the general teaching accommodation.
Planning permission was granted by Sefton Council in September 2024 with unanimous approval.
