Teaching and Sports Provision, B.T.H. – Projects

Our second project with Blessed Thomas Holford College, this scheme consists of a new general teaching and sports hall building which provides 14 much need teaching classrooms to meet the increase in pupil numbers. There is also a new four-court sports hall and changing facility to improve provision.

A difficult project due to the location, as the new facilities sit on the existing campus which is already a tight site with limited spatial options.

At ground floor level the building is of brick construction for durability and robustness. Areas of recessed brick detailing add shadow detail and break up brick façades in a subtle manner. An oxidised copper effect rainscreen cladding to the upper floors creates a contemporary appearance.

The scheme was handed over in November 2021.
