Tewkesbury Leisure Centre – Projects

The design of Tewkesbury Leisure Centre represents an approach to a contextual and site centred scheme. Situated near to several key English Heritage assets, the centre was located directly adjacent to the local Council offices to minimise the visual impact. Using only brickwork, timber and glass, the design uses texture and scale to blend in, yet stand out and have its own strong identity.

The centre houses a six-lane 25metre main pool, 20metre learner pool, a children’s water confidence area, steam and sauna rooms, a fitness suite and a dance studio. The wet changing village has been designed as two distinct elements, allowing each side to be used by separate user groups if required.
