Two Rivers Housing – Projects

This new two-storey headquarters for a housing provider client has created office space for administration and management, as well as a resource centre for their tenants. Project aims included making the most of views and natural light, to ensure the building was appropriate for its setting and to make it welcoming for the local community.

As well as the building having a contemporary appearance, the client also wanted it to showcase their commitment to the environment. As such, 150sq.m of photovoltaic panels are integrated into the roof, there is highly-efficient air displacement heating and cooling and heat recovery for admin, management and tenant meeting areas. The target – and result – was a scheme that achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
